Dinan - Stage 3 Performance Engine Software - BMW E9X 335i & E82/E88 135i (N54)

The software removes the top speed governor, enabling the cars to attain their ''natural'' top speed; and the V8 will pull right to red-line in top gear! Changes to the throttle mapping help soften throttle tip-in for a sportier feel and improved modulation capabilities.

Note: The Dinan High Capacity Oil Cooler and High Performance Intercooler is required for Stage 3.

98 More Horsepower / 129 More lb-ft of Torque 
Stage 3 Performance Engine Software safely increases turbo-boost pressure and is optimized to take full advantage of the High Performance Intercooler.  The boost is tapered at the higher levels to keep from over heating and damaging the turbos.  With a peak horsepower of 398 at 5700 rpm and the peak torque of 429 lb-ft at 4300 rpm as tested with Dinan High Capacity Oil Cooler System and Dinan Free Flow Exhaust is a monumental increase over the stock 300 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque BMW quotes.

Power
Being only 1 lb-ft and 14 hp short of a stock M3 in a package that costs less to buy, fill with gas and insure it is the perfect weekday commuter and weekend canyon carver.

Tips:

First Spin
After software is installed, the engine management computer (DME) needs to adapt to the new programing and takes about 100 miles to complete. Over the 100 miles the car will become faster and more responsive and so will your heartbeat.

Performance Software Stages & Upgrades
Any stage can be installed at any time and, if upgrading, just pay the price difference between the stage you currently have and the stage you are upgrading to.
