Once your F8X M3/M4 has its initial break in service at 1,200 miles, BMW does not require another oil service for 12 months or at least 15,000 miles. You know your car best, so give yourself the tools to change your oil on your own terms. Per BMW, an oil change for your F8X M3/M4 requires 6.5 quarts of 5w30 synthetic oil, new oil filter, and drain plug replacement.
